Running airfield ops out of a plywood room built inside a bombed out hangar in Kuwait, but we had rudimentary cable/satellite tv and got a couple euro channels thanks to some clever comms guys. That video and the late night lingerie shows on Fashion TV were right up there with skinemax as a kid! LOL
OT: one I’m pretty sure I recall from that deployment…damn near 20 years ago now.
Hard to believe it's been that long ago.
One of the "clever" comm guys was in the switch room one night, watched a little too long before switching the over to a different channel. Got busted by the female Major Comm CC.
She watched him watching the full frontal that was on for about 5 minutes before he switched over then saw her.
She was pretty cool about it I guess, asked him if that was going to happen again...
They want to make sure to record the destruction when the pilot fires the rockets.

Kuwait City, right after we seized it…. They cut down the bodies of the dudes the Iraqis hung from the rafters a couple days before we moved in.
The satellite tv was already hooked up, but I don’t recall watching anything until we’d been there for at least a couple months. Also remember watching some Italian or maybe German game show, where as far as I can tell the entire objective was for everyone to get naked.
something something fruity or something like that. Maybe tutti frutti?
…twenty years on, this is probably them now, LOL.
