I remember them, Military used them in my day.
They didn't have a needle though, the vaccine got shot out at high pressure in a jet that shot below the skin. Looked like a big mosquito bite when done.
Apparently the stopped using them from fear of cross contamination anyway.

True. I was a grown man before I ever ate at a decent Italian restaurant. My mom is a mediocre cook and still made better spaghetti than any of them until that one. Course I lived in Southern Cal.
