Because you have no idea about the first, but the second is definitely a whore.
If it's for a two speed reared, it should switched in each gear, or switched once then go back through the gears, except low when going up in gears, then flipped once again going back down. Uses it at pretty strange times it seems. I've driven 5 speed trans with two speed rear, switched in each gear going up, not really needed going down (grain truck); and two speed rear with making a 5 speed into 10 (semi tractors and bucket trucks).
Makes sense to call one a tractor trailer.
Never having driven one, but have driven lots of ag tractors, I am familiar with ranges and gears. Is the left shifter a range and the right shifter gears?
Something like that?
