And stabby
In '93 at Sears Point Raceway (Sonoma) I stood next to the burnout box while Pure Hell did multiple gas induced fire burnouts for local TV to promote the Jim Davis Memorial Drag races that weekend. Absolutely priceless. AA/FA drivers have balls and no sense of fear, pure adrenaline junkies. (y)
I was there with Mel Bryson and his AA/G Willys.
I saw Wild Willie Borsch and his Winged Express in the late 60’s. First time I breathed and smelled Nitro so much☠️ Still have a cap signed by him around somewhere.
Dude was crazy !!

Failed to mention these pics were taken on Tiburon Island over the last week. Beautiful place in Gods Creation.
Isla Tiburon, I thought it must have been somewhere in the Sea of Cortez. Lots of good spearfishing down there. Tiburon used to have natives that would kill Mexican fishermen who washed up on shore during a storm. I was told the natives were also cannibals. I was also told that in the 1950s the Mexican .gov went and wiped out all the natives on Tiburon, after years of them killing innocent Mexican fishermen.

I’ve been in 11 ft sea’s in a 23’ boat……screw that.

11' can mean a lot of different things. 35' seas is fishable if your mindful as long as the period is long enough. Otherwise 15' can kick you ass in a 130' when their steep. I have a 23' play boat and generally the rule is the beam in feet and seconds is ok. So in my instance ant larger then 9' and shorter then 9sec is a no go.
