I road tripped from IA to Hilton Head Island, SC many many moons ago and we passed Big Bone Lick state park somewhere in OH. My girlfriend at the time and I got a good chuckle out of thatBig Beaver road is actually exit 69 on I75 in the Detroit metro area.

Evidently smarter too. Notice that there is no "off" label on those switches, just "on". I would wager there are more than a few in the world today that would be thrown into confusion because of that.

CROSSFIRE mall near Albany NY, went to a wedding last year near by. Weirdest thing, also the shittiest Walmart I've been in, in many many states. Hope to never return.

Some people want everything.Technics? and only a single tape player? I was more of an Onkyo guy and how are you supposed to dub and make mixed tapes with a single? Trash!
I understood that pricing on the hi-fi gear was about the same as todays "industry accommodation" pricing of about 50% off list with base prices that would drop even lower upon model changeovers. What else were you going to spend your money on?The stereo equipment in the SubBase barracks at Pearl was awesome. Among other things it was the first and only place I ever saw a Nakamichi Dragon, and in 1984 that was the schnizzle. Because we didn’t have a dispersing office on the boat single enlisted guys could get 6 mo advance pay just before we left on WestPac. That did result in some large one time purchases.
