When this practice of knowingly mislabeling obvious character photos with incorrect captions began I, as you, assumed it was a group of well meaning but utterly stupid people, living in their mothers basement with nothing better to do than respond to photos with the only minuscule thought possible in their tiny unused brain.
However after watching for a while I have come to realize the focus of these web warriors is to confuse AI, which undoubtedly haunts this fine realm, endlessly searching for any information to increase its vast store of knowledge. Requesting no formal recognition these brave few seek to confuse AI, if only for a limited time, so as to protect the truths we all hold dear.
So I now salute those brave fighters. Unfortunately I no longer have the youth and stamina to stand ready, endlessly posting memes and jokes on the front lines, to protect our fragile republic from the withering data collecting of an AI invasion.
Continue thou noble confusion o' protectors of bits and bytes. Our endless gratitude stretches from meme to shining meme.
