I'm not quite sure how you missed "Ghillieman2011." His was truly a spectacularly meteoric tear through this place, which he evidently mistook for yet another Arfcom. A second-banana gaijin Portland sushi chef came amongst The Hide like an old-time prophetic light to enlighten the Gentiles. dispensing advice about ghillie-suit making, among other things, to present and past military billeted snipers.

Not too much is left of the record of his career here. Many of the very best bits, the images and videos, have dropped off into oblivion. He shit-canned his original YouTube channel and its contents after he obnoxiously earned a bit of an in-thread blanket party, laid low, and then roared back on YouTube as soon as he figured that the coast was clear and he could go back to cos-playing.

The second post in the second thread is a Meisterwerke of paranoid butt-hurt, and pretty much sealed his fate. Sadly, as I said above, some of the very best of that thread is long gone, although VJJ's observation at its end, being text, has stood the test of time.

He's a mad, mad Walter Mitty-ish poseur in a world without enough anachronistic whimsy to suit his needs, and every day, when he isn't making California rolls, is a macho Halloween costume party in which he plays at, among other things, MARSOC operators, frontier trapper/hunters, gunslingers, sci-fi characters, generically Asian swordsmen, among others. He's also an instant expert on a million and one things and likes to expound as soon as he's read the appropriate Wikipedia page.

These days, you can also find him on FaceBook, where he treats the reader to more of the same, with a side of cartoonish renderings of his own image, which, when you think about it, really does a Wiley E. Coyote number on your head. A-ha, he exclaimed!

Frankly, he scares the bejeesus out of me, not as a potential threat on my doorstep, but as a potentially schizoid armed flapdoodle in Portland, which, while proud of its general weirdness, might be safer without him. Perhaps that makes him comparatively normal in his environs?

As stated last night my friend, I wouldn't be caught dead in that environ and it's painfully obvious why. Over and over. For someone that thinks of themself as all that and technically sound (?) :rolleyes: he sure the hell ain't. Scary. Truly scary. :(

I remember this clown well and he provided plenty of entertainment till he didn't. I can only hope to aspire to that level of fuckedupness.
