Not sure how it happened, but… my wife hates jewelry, makeup, and flowers. She shops at thrift stores and basically wears the same thing everyday.
Now you know how I can afford all those cool NODs and Pew.
It’ll be 30 years of wedded bliss this May.

Awesome/not awesome pic of the destruction of our yard as they run the lines for the new septic system; all because we just had to add a bathroom to the detached garage/casita/pool house. This is just one small area, but because of the terrain and stand-off regulations it has to go around 3/4 of our property, so almost every piece of actual yard is getting destroyed to some extent and will have to be re-landscaped.
Le sigh…first world problems.
…and yes, we knew this was coming, and it’d all get destroyed, so the weeds are way out of control for now!
They "made" you do all of that, even though you're not adding a bedroom or increasing the occupancy load? I've seen a grinder pump system work in many situations like that. Just push the waste over into the existing system. Best of luck.thanks for that! Very cool.

We‘re keeping the same basic system, but because State regulations changed since our system was installed 10 years ago (thanks Austin commies!), and we’ve added a lot of rock vs. grass to our landscaping, we have to replace our sprayers with leach fields. The tank itself isn’t changing (just barely meets the new capacity requirements, thank God), but we had to add substantial drainage to get to the capacity requirements for the number of bathrooms now dumping into the system.
And the routing is due to the 10’ standoff from all property lines. Unfortunately, we built the casita on the ‘wrong’ side of the pool for optimum septic routing…but it had to be there for the plot layout to work.
Just a damn expensive bathroom in the end, LoL.
Again, first world problems.

That always amazed me that scratches on Vinyl could reproduce some of the most enjoyable complex sounds I even heard . I gave my collection of several hundred LP's, Turntable, Big Old tube Amp, receiver, old marantz equalizer years ago to a friend of mine young son who was playing guitar and just getting into music. I do miss it sometimes and miss the oldschool Vinyl. The easy convenience of digital just feels cold and dirty.
