I remember going to this place in FL when I was young called something like Gatorland or some shit. We watched them feed this huge pool of alligators and one of things they did was send a raw chicken (several different times) across this pond on a clothesline type thing. There was a gator about 12 feet long that got completely out of the water by about half his length to get a chicken.

FUCK!!!

Ask @lash about the gator he watched a couple of weeks ago.

It was in part of the same lake, just to the west of this image.

Oh, and Gatorland is still in business.

Oh yeah, I get it. Like I said, If it weren't for the grandkids, we wouldn't still be here either.
I want to move out to the other side of Parma to be closer to the range. I just have to convince the wife.

Good luck with that. My wife wanted to move close to the grandkids. I didn't want to move away from my range. We compromised and moved close to the grandkids.

Yeah. We were glassing the lake and watching all the pretty large gators in it. I happened to pan back as a blue heron flew down towards the bank. Suddenly a gator came flying out, clearing the whole body and even base of the tail, to get that bird. Unfortunately for the gator, it miscalculated and barely missed.

Now that one was a smaller one, I’ll guess at maybe 7-8’. I was too far away to estimate correctly. It reminded me of one of those nature shows or Wild kingdom. It was awesome.

This one usually watches me shoot. Maybe six feet. He has larger brothers and sisters, but I’ve never seen them out of the water.

What intrigues me the most is the $3000 box of Ballistic Tip 22 Cal bullets above the 175s... Are those the depleted uranium rounds for the up armored gophers?
Ummm, ummm you didn't see that.

PM me, I can hook you up. I've got a solid connection and prices are great.

I don’t know, I am sort of thinking this could be one of those camp Lejeune water things…

”Were you sure shooting varment bullets from the United States Marine Corps between the years of 1953 and 1987? Did you eat vermin meat that was shot with ballistic tip 22 rounds provided by the Marine Corps? You may be entitled to a large cash settlement…”
