I've never heard that but, then again, I can't say I've ever not drank while grocery shopping.
I thought that's why they invented Yeti cups, so that nobody in the grocery store can tell what you are sipping.

Not that bad but I was out with my girlfriend in college and the cap wasn’t tight.
She was pissed. Not so much because I put ketchup on her..but she hated the smell of it.

yeah, that's like the time I was sure I ran over a mongoose that was running across the road with a nut in it's mouth, but 1) it had a bushy tail and 2) mongooses are native to Africa and Asia, and this was New Jersey.
