An old friend of mine that I used to get into some serious shenanigans with designs jet engines (he has a PhD in aerospace mechanical engineering from Princeton) and I keep trying to get him to design me a pulse jet like this guy and he won’t do it. Two months ago, the water pump on my Cummins was going out. I figured it would take me 6 to 8 hours to swap it out. Instead, I hired a friend that is a mobile mechanic. He came to my shop and took care of it in 3 hours. He charged me $100 an hour. I often make $100 an hour doing what I do. So, the math was easy. I paid him and told him thank you.

Often, you've got to pay a man for what he knows.

And in my experience, cash will get you a better deal..........
