Maggie’s Motivational Pic Thread v2.0 - - New Rules - See Post #1

We have 2 cats. They spend the night in the basement. One only goes outside for short times. The other doesn't like coming home if the weather is good. If cat "b" is in when we shoo them down stairs for the night all is good. If cat "B" "comes home late" even 5 minutes cat "A" jumps "B" and bites his neck jumps on his back until he feels the message has been sent and recieved. Funny as hell.
Cat "B" has PTSD from it because now he hesitates at the door and just sticks he head through the door looking around.
Cat "A" has figured this out and now hides behind a chair or table until cat "B" is all the way in and the door closes on his ass.

Nitro and Turbo are the names respectively. Oh and Turbo is an escape artist also. The door has to be kept this way or you wake up with a cat on your face at 2am.

^^^ IIRC, the helicopter(s) in Red Dawn were the real thing. There were two of them owned by an American who went by some oddball name like "Honest Hajib"... who managed to steal (purchase illicitly I believe) two of them from Egypt. He had them for rental in Hollywood for movies including Red Dawn and a Rambo. I may be recalling that wrong...

This is not the same Agency/160th operation that stole a couple from the desert by slinging them under CH47's. That was an even better story.

But I believe that the Red Dawn Hind's were the real deal.

Cheers,

Sirhr

Could be, would differ to bigger experts than me. Just when i did google search "helicopter in red dawn" it came up that they were not the real deal. I just put that in the post because i was affraid of the total opposite post from yours.
"Those were not real" so in the end I got "reprimanded" either way:D.

Springfield Armory® Severs Ties with Dick’s Sporting Goods
Springfield Armory announces its decision in response to Dick’s Sporting Goods’ attempts to deny Second Amendment freedoms
GENESEO, IL, (05/03/18) – Springfield Armory is severing ties with Dick’s Sporting Goods and its subsidiary, Field & Stream, in response to their hiring a group for anti-Second Amendment lobbying.
This latest action follows Dick’s Sporting Goods’ decision to remove and destroy all modern sporting rifles (MSR) from their inventory. In addition, they have denied Second Amendment rights to Americans under the age of 21. We at Springfield Armory believe that all law abiding American citizens of adult age are guaranteed this sacred right under our Constitution.
It is clear where Dick’s Sporting Goods and its subsidiary, Field & Stream, stand on the Second Amendment, and we want to be clear about our message in response. Their position runs counter to what we stand for as a company. At Springfield Armory, we believe in the rights and principles fought for and secured by American patriots and our founding forefathers, without question. We will not accept Dick’s Sporting Goods’ continued attempts to deny Second Amendment freedoms to our fellow Americans.

I attended the NRA Convention this week, as a Exhibitor (North South Skirmish Assn). Before the doors opened to the crowds, I walked over to the Springfield booth and had a quiet word with the senior guys staffing the booth. I thanked them as a citizen for the stance they have taken. I personally know that sometimes taking a stand can be a lonely proposition. I shook their hands, and one of the guys actually had tears in his eyes. It was a good moment, and they appreciate any sign of support.

That is what Boy Scouts used to be..... I am an Eagle Scout and I wouldn't go near that organization today. It's a sad shell of what it used to be on all levels and has been inundated with liberal doctrine and decree.
I never did make Eagle but my son is an Eagle with double gold palms, Vigil OA, assistant Scout Master and one of less than 1100 young men to ever receive the Hornaday Medal in scouting. Due to recent changes pushed by political correctness, he has completely disassociated himself from scouting.

What changes would those be?

But finally...a "Hornaday" that acutally HAS two of the letter A.

I heard that. I was also Vigil OA and I got a lot out of Boy Scouts. It is a shame what it has morphed into but it is a good case study on exactly what is being crammed down our throats as a country today. The things that built this country like the virtues and principals of scouting, guns, God etc. are all under attack.

Nate, for one the change to being called "family scouts" vs "Boy Scouts" It doesn't take much Googlefu to see that the organization has caved to all things liberal and politically correct.
