LOL...

An FPV drone got knocked down by a chucked spear at a medieval festival (Renaissance faire, looks like). That was a pretty lucky, or very good throw too. The drone was a $20-30 convenience store model meant to be sacrificed for the bet but it is still impressive.

In H. Beam Piper's Paratime series of novels, Paratime Police chief Tortha Karf was right when he absolutely refused to place even the most elite tactical units of Paracops armed with blasters and ray pistols on the front line against archers when they were conducting rescue missions for captured personnel in the primitive sectors of Paratime. They opted to use infiltration and disguise instead.

"We'd lose men, even with needlers against bows, and there is a chance some of our equipment will fall into out-time hands"...

Nice throw either way.

Makes sense. A shitty company called Matrix Aero was making Ruger's uppers, lowers and handguards and they were a horrible company to work with. They made Lowers and handguards for me and there was lots of problems. Every single handguard had to go back on one big order.

Anderson employees and equipment will turn out much better stuff than matrix.
