There's a number of urban myths going around about a female sniper fighting for Al Nursa, Al Qaeda, or what ever terrorists are currently fighting in Syria. Everytime they show her she is holding a fine piece of equipment like this rifle. The last photo I saw was her aiming a Nagant with a $29 ebay scope mounted similarly.

I am not any kind of fan of Assad at all, but I hope he wins that war because he isn't fighting a civil war anymore. It's a bunch of Islamic extremists from all over the world flocking there hoping to find glory and 72 virgins. The more of them he kills the less of them we have to worry about. If we (NATO) continue to supply them with advanced ATGM's and long range rifles it won't be long before that shit starts to show up in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other places we don't want to see them.

I seriously doubt this is legit. Sounds like propaganda to make them look good to westerners. "Look, we're liberating women!! No terrorists here, just freedom fighters! (Jamal, hide the suicide vests, cameras are here!)"

I still remember the Storm King Mountain Firefighters that were lost a number of years back. This is an even worse tragedy. Thoughts and prayers for their families and friends.

Thank you to all who put their lives on the line to protect others.

Surprisingly as a Firefighter/ Paramedic I'm good friends with a K9 officer
for a near-by PD. He texted me the night it happened "you firemen can't catch a break this year". He's absolutely right. On an average year 100 Firefighters die in the line of duty each year. This year looks like it will exceed that. I hate it!

God help their families, and their brothers in service!

The video was edited to take out the parts where he kept patting her on the butt. Unfortunately the guy you see getting the shit beat out of him in the parking lot is the Falcao's friend who got involved after the fact. Falcao ran away once he started getting thumped. Both guys are MMA fighters who got fired by their team and organization (Bellator) today.
