If dead and relocated people can vote then it only makes sense that this dude can have a relative buy this business, open a shop and this guy can operate under that license. The code upgrades for snow load on residential construction are outrageous in the Tahoe basin. If you own a house there I hope you pay extra for code upgrades on your homeowner insurance. I worked one job where the homeowner didn't have that coverage. The snow damage to the structure was $87K, the code upgrade was another $250K which he had to pay out of pocket. I am glad I don't have to deal with any Tahoe dwellers anymore.
With this kind of damage they will not replace just the damaged rafters, the entire structure has to be upgraded to current code.
I agree totally, but I have header bolts that can’t be reached with a torque wrench.
I have three different torque wrenches, and I use one when ever possible.
I had 6' of snow (in 24 hours) on my 32' clear span garage roof trusses. Garage is still standing.

Yes it is but do you know how much of a bitch it is to get the cable through the coupler? I'd say that there's two possibilities.
