Flew from Andersen AB in Guam to Clark AB in da PI in a C-5 Galaxy once. Sat in some seats facing backwards , the cabin humidity was foggy and you couldn’t see a foot in front of you. No windows to boot. Made for a long surreal flight.
Driving a AA/FA took a pair of steel balls and little brains.

My personal best is South Korea to Hurlburt Field, FL...in jump seats.
14 hours 30 minutes in a C 47 non stop, could have got there quicker if we stopped to refuel but took the opportunity to set a record. Standard fuel quantity of 800 US gallons.
Reading about yall camping out in very uncomfortable cargo planes, thank you for what you did. I'm 25 years in Fire/EMS, and have read a pile of books about most of the wars the U.S. has been involved in, especially since 2001.
