Maggie’s Motivational Pic Thread v2.0 - - New Rules - See Post #1

This is truth. We had a call one evening in an otherwise hostile neighborhood regarding a dog bite. Figured it was some dude who decided it was a good idea to steal and the dog got involved. Whatever, don’t steal and don’t face the consequences. Nope. It was a little girl who was trying to pet a pit and got her face laid open in front of the owner. Just a well mannered, polite little 8 year girl in pain. If it was my dog that damn thing wouldn’t have made it 2 minutes after the bite. It wasn’t life threatening but the scars will be for a lifetime, on her face. For a woman that’s a huge deal. Never forgotten that one. I’m willing to accept that they have their place, but it isn’t in everyday society.
This year I had a little girl who was bitten in the face by a dog. Not a pitbull. Does the breed get a pass, it was a border collie.

I know a family who's child has brain damage from being kicked by a horse.

Better add those to the list.

Yep, can’t trust a pitbull. Our neighbours “friendly” one snapped and almost killed our new puppy we had for a week. My hands and arms got fucked up big time, trying to save him. When you have your hands in a pitbull’s mouth in kill-mode, you find out quickly that there is absolutely nothing you can do. I know exactly why cops will shoot dogs. Fuck having one of those attached to your leg when you have a bad dude trying to kill you also.

I think dogs are just too dangerous for people to be able to just own. You should have to take classes, show competency, and buy a license first.:ROFLMAO:
