That you’re vaccinated seems like a safe bet.Nope Ram 2500

WrongThat you’re vaccinated seems like a safe bet.
I think you've touched on it. Around here, UTV's do not pull over or off the road for vehicles. There can be 20 in a row so that you can't pass in our rural area. I just follow along. The point is, there are inconsiderate people everywhere, in cars, trucks, UTV's, bikes, pedestrians and even amish buggies! Likewise, there are considerate people everywhere. We ride bike, and get over to the right as far as possible on our rural roads. Some pass us within 3 ft and some get over into the other lane. Most pass by without any event, some honk and yell for no reason. I get behind groups of bikers that take up the whole lane. Do they have the right? Sure, but they are still dicks in my opinion. If you can ride your bike on the shoulder, gutter, or sidewalk to get to the head of the line at a traffic signal/stop sign, then you can ride there all the fucking time. Not all of us live close enough to work to ride a bike, and you are interfering with traffic when you do, and it wouldn't matter if you were in a car. Just damned inconsiderate to every other human you meet. That's why I stopped riding on the roads and went to riding trails/bike paths, because I didn't want to be a selfish dickhead in other people's way.
We also ride a UTV on the paved road out in the country. If someone overtakes, we immediately pull off on the shoulder for the same reasons, and were going 40+, not 10.
I bet you yell at Grandma every time she's driving 20 in a 45 and you get stuck behind her in a car. Why is that different?

One ticket to Tierra Del Fuego please.
He wouldn't have liked it, you wouldn't have liked it. Considering his legal right to use the road. You would have been at fault for running him over.
You sound like trucktard. Part of your lane being obstructed does not give you the right away in the other lane. The corner being to tight to take at current speed means you need to slow fuck the down, and not use all the lanes.
No need to get excited. It's a 50 mph truck speed limit zone, one lane each way, no shoulder on either side. I could not see the cyclist until I was closing on him at a high rate of speed. With the radius of that turn, to keep the trailer out of the opposing lane, my right steer tire needs to be near the white line on the right. The timing of all of it was horrible: Little space, short visibility, big speed differential, two lanes, three "vehicles". Physics decided the rest. I don't usually see cyclists in that area (there's tons of wrecks just between cars) and after I saw a bunch of cyclists last summer, I haven't seen any this year.He wouldn't have liked it, you wouldn't have liked it. Your assumption is that I'm being selfish when you're the one complaining about people in your way is completely ass-backwards. The self-centeredness of thinking everyone needs to get out of your way because you're driving there is astounding.
Do yourself a favor and read what you're saying and get back to us. All I'm seeing is the same stuff that comes from a 2-year old not getting their way.

What's the old saying. Being right isn't a shield of invincibility.
You put yourself in that position. You clearly know its a dangerous corner and obviously know pushing 50 through there is razor edge in your rig.No need to get excited. My guess is either the cyclists suffered heavy losses last year and decided against riding there or highway patrol got tired of cleaning up and told them go someplace else.
Just because you can doesn't mean you should. I still believe entire family > cyclist (I hope to God you agree with that part). To be honest, I didn't exactly enjoy being put in that position.
Everyone hold on. This dog is about to deliver prophecy. I can see it in his eyes. About cyclists on the road. The frog, well he is just living in the moment. Again, too many Joe Rogan podcasts.
It's not "razor edge". There was just enough room to accommodate the cyclist but apparently not quite enough if you asked him. I slowed down as much as possible given the time I had and I don't think anybody was technically breaking any laws including the cyclist. I didn't post anything I wouldn't tell the cops, it was just a sketchy situation all around. We all put ourselves in that situation and we all had a "right" to be there. I just didn't have the time and space to properly kiss his ass at the moment. I suggest starting a thread about the topic so we don't ruin the motivational pic thread. You put yourself in that position. I agree you would proabaly get in less trouble if you killed the cyclist vs multiple people in the opposing lane. You sure wouldn't want them to find this post if it ever happened though. Yikes.
Dude, those things are so rare around here any longer. I love seeing them. When I was a kid we would catch them, flip them over and rub their bellies. They would be out in no time flat. It's not "razor edge". There was just enough room to accommodate the cyclist but apparently not quite enough if you asked him. Over and out.
Here's a horny toad I caught last year for everyone's viewing pleasure.

No, he's just on charge. This dog is about to deliver prophecy.
If there's 'just enough room' it means there wasn't just enough room. As evidenced by the middle finger you got. It's not "razor edge". Sorry, on two lane country roads with no passing for miles and the asshole bicyclists actually went from single file to side by side...to block things completely. Real smart. It's really very simple.... Physics still works today as it did back in the 1960's. 6000lbs beats 225lbs every time. Instead of spending the rest of your life in a wheelchair pissing and shitting in a bag use some common sense. The same fucking reason I move my car to the right when a cement truck is coming in the opposite direction... It's called the short end of the stick.....Totally your choice.uh huh. False analogy Trains can't steer or slow down quickly.
Imagine a semi-truck driving around you like you say you do around cyclists. How do you think that would make *you* feel? Something that big threatening you on the highway? Yeah, you'd react like your life's in danger too.
I've BTDT behind pedestrians on the bike. I've BTDT behind a group ride in a car. Nothing changes: wait till its safe and pass carefully. I don't see the issue.
All y'all complaining about cyclists are like never Trumpers with your irrational hatred. Constantly amazes me.

Please wear a sign that says mikeshaw2 so we will recognize you!!!If there's 'just enough room' it means there wasn't just enough room. As evidenced by the middle finger you got.
You're sitting there fat and happy in your steel safety cage with the temp just right knowing that if something happens, you're not likely to die and you think your actions are appropriate to the person that you're likely to kill if you hit them?
Let's put this into shooting terms: you're on the range minding your own business when another shooter gets on the line. They're not paying much attention to their muzzle discipline and flagging you with a loaded weapon. That doesn't affect them cause they're at the other end of the muzzle. What do you do? After all... it isn't their life in danger. You can certainly try and talk to them, but they're oblivious to the danger since it isn't them that's being flagged by a loaded weapon.
You guys driving like jackholes around cyclists is like flagging people on the line. Your life isn't in danger, but the cyclist's certainly is.
Try and remember that next time you encounter a cyclist.
Some of us are armed. Take that into consideration when you decide to get aggro around us.

Let's put this into shooting terms: you're on the range minding your own business when a road biker gets on the line. They're not paying much attention to their muzzle discipline and flagging you with a loaded weapon, then they start walking back and forth in front of the firing line while the range is hot. That doesn't affect them cause they have the "right" to do it and its up to you not to shoot them. You can certainly try and talk to them, but they're oblivious to the danger since they make terrible decisions by riding bikes on roads they dont belong on.
