Trust me... "Lo Siento" for this guy! Back in 2001, I had injured/torn my Rt. Achilles tendon from a fall in the snow in NYC. I had surgery to repair it in Feb. of that year, and had to wear a rigid splint for 6 weeks (better than a full cast for 6 months without the surgery). I had to do crutches and roll around in a wheel chair for those 6 weeks I was in the rigid splint. In fact, I had two separate wheel chairs, one on each floor of my townhouse. I would "butt" up and down the stairs to get to each chair and then roll around. On the top floor, I'd use the crutches.

For "Showering." I had a small shower stall like the above in the master bath. I bought a plastic garden chair to sit in while showering. Full size with a high back and arms. There were holes in the seat, but not that large. :ROFLMAO: I wrapped up the splint in a plastic trash bag and showered away!

I still have that chair to this very day. It's on my outdoor sun porch.
