They are probably getting ready to switch from the drug making business into creating guns and gun parts. They are very aware of what is happening north of them, with the ATF banning simunitions and the ammo shortage and whatnot. The day that leftists manage to get real gun bans put into place in the US and Canada is when guns and heavier hardware are going to be flowing up north. If leftists are actually smart enough to foretell future consequences, they'd stop any attempts to push further antigun agendas. You want full on Class IIIs and open bolt blowbacks to flood a country, passing a gun ban is how you are going to get full on Class IIIs and Chechnya style Stens, Stirlings, and Luty SMGs everywhere. Indonesia and much of Southeast Asia passed draconian gun bans in the 1990s and earlier 2000s. Almost immediately, the arms in the hands of civilians turned from regular "sporting" and defense pieces into military and urban warfare grade ordnance and the gangs are only too happy to keep that trend going.
There has been ABSOLUTELY NO cases throughout history where a prohibition had actually been successful in stopping a banned item from proliferating. The very philosophy of the Okinawan martial art of Karate, an art solely focused on resisting tyranny using improvised and ingenious weapons, is very different from the unarmed basic exercises taught in McDojos in the west. The "karate" taught in dojos here are merely daily exercise and workout routines that were meant to keep local farmers and militiamen physically fit in order to be able to fight in their villages' defense at a second's notice. Actual Karate was a fighting system that stressed the adaptation of existing tools and farm implements into lethal battlefield weapons in the face of the Japanese occupiers of Okinawa prohibiting the ownership of swords, spears, and halberds by the Okinawan natives in the 1500s. So staffs for regular farm scythes are then made with multiple angled receptors on the end. When word gets out that samurai are about to raid a village, local resistance fighters simply had to adjust the angle of a scythe blade on it's staff and in minutes, a scythe is transformed into a halberd or a hook blade for unhorsing and decapitating charging riders. If the McDojos here are teaching the real version of Karate instead of the neutered pop culture version, students would be sitting at workbenches learning how to machine and fabricate open bolt submachine guns and automatic pistols, not kicking and punching foam pads...

Those are broken pieces of pottery ("sherds") at a ruin in Chaco Canyon, a National Park in NW New Mexico. The general style of most of them is "Black on White" and they were made around 1000 AD.
Una Vida (One Life) was one of the 3 early Great Houses at Chaco. The first section of Una Vida was built around 850 AD. This wall section was a later addition made between 1050 and 1100, after the women had taken over the masonry. This is Type III core-and-veneer masonry.
