Yup... A classic feature of the Mr. Whitekeys Fly By Night Club show, the "Whale Fat Follies" in the Spenard section of Anchorage, AK. I saw it there. That was a great time.

Depends on the time of year. Fairbanks can actually be rather habitable in the summer (70-80˚F range, when I was there around the 4th of July, 1996).
Any other time of year, "FUGGHETABOUTIT!"
