I now have a significant case of Asthma from both family history and an early 10 year career in Wild land Fire Fighting. Some perfumes/colognes will trigger an attack by having the wearer walk by.

You and me both brother. My mother owned a print shop, specializing in vinyl decals. The chemicals did not seen to bother me until I hit the 40’s. And it got really bad. Multiple days long bouts for me of allergy attacks. Now, I have exercise induced asthma. Really tough.

Speaking of bad, driving down a highway, if the vehicle in front has a cigarette smoker in it and they have the window cracked, I get a server headache. Woodsmoke, Yep the kind we all love to smell, any petrochemical, perfume are all killers. I hate em. Brenda has totally given up any kind of smelly stuff. If I can smell it it’s beyond bad. (Did I mention cigarette smoke ).

This is my worst fear, being completely rat fucked like this situation.
I have some friendly advice on these Comercial vehicles.
They are 80,000 lbs rolling wood chipper’s. Keep your distance, I mean stay at least 2-3 hundred feet behind them, or get ahead of them.
The class of drivers that operate them today are not qualified to operate a moped.
No pre trips out of compliance equipment, talking and texting the whole time they are driving.
They are a train wreck waiting to kill you and your family.
