Over on ARF they are already working on an assortment of slip on accessories to act as an adaptive suppressor.
My understanding is that they want to keep all the ag tax dollars from the San Joaquin and Sac valleys that are staunchly red. I can't think of any of us who would like the state split give a flying fuck about the Bay, but some of the delta is definitely ag ground.
