Wife wanted quartz counter tops. New top and sink moved the garbage disposal enough the plumbing had to be reworked. I didn’t have time and I’m not a plumber so I called one.

Next morning wife calls and says $850. WHAT? Pay him for the callout and show him the door. Dude calls me and says he’s willing to comeback later and explain.

“Repipe everything, longer line to the dishwasher, blah, blah, blah.” Nope. Thanks for stopping by. One trip to Lowes and about an hour later, no leaks. Returned excess parts for refund. Wife later tells me the guy told her he wasn’t sure he could even do it.

Next day I get a text asking for a google review. Happy to.

Quartz tops..wife changed the whole kitchen etc

So instead of granite which is indestructible we now have pretty white quartz that you can’t put a hot pot on anymore..so much easier 😠

You'd have them in a heartbeat if she was sporting the body, looks and sucked like a Hoover. Don't try to say that you wouldn't. Once you're done with her the locksmith and counter top can be changed.

I'd laugh harder if the whole thing was caused by HVAC. Those guys are the bane of structural integrity. I don't know what they teach them, but I do know it's not "Ask the carpenter before you hack shit out of your way." I've never had another trade do anything careless without talking to me first. It's the norm for HVAC.
If one of my crews did that I wouldn’t fire them, I would beat them to death with an old suction hose.

Leap years are like wild cards. They can be added or subtracted as needed

Plumbers are a close second to what I have seen HVAC guys do. Third place goes to the shitty carpenters. And a lot of the shitty architects that can't do a plan for either of those trades
Can’t we all agree it starts with shitty architects

Actually she just said she wants a “mommy make over”. Lol

But the kitchen came first … so I’m spending double for nothing 😂😂

Had granite. Scratch and chip too easy. We talked about the hot pot deal. She said, “I don’t do it now, why would I start?”

I wanted a darker color, she wanted light. We compromised and got light.

They started the bathrooms yesterday. As well as the kitchen went, this has been a total clusterfuck. One sink hole cut in the wrong place, did not account for an electric outlet, backsplashes wrong size. Won’t be back before Monday. Wife has a hen party this Sunday. I’m spending a lot of time loading ammo and (re)cleaning guns. Just trying to stay out of the crossfire.
