Actually that is what they tell you and it is technically incorrect. Although the air quality is effected the green house gases from our Industrial Revolution are just a blib on the scale.
They real scientist reported a few years back when a large volcano erupts, more green house gases are released during the first few hours than humans have produced PERIOD. Some of the larger eruptions go on for days.
The largest variable to our planet heating/cooling cycle is the sunspot activity and that is what produced the mini ice age. We have been in a 180 year or so cooling period for a while now (20 years?).
Of course a mega eruption can and will effect our climate for years and can also cause a ice age. There are several disruptions (volcanoes, earthquakes, pole shifts, solar storms, meteorite strikes, etc) to our planet that can have short term effects to our climate but the main factor is the sunspot activity.
The only reality of weather and climate on earth is that it is always changing and has never been stable. Statistics and graphs can show whatever you want them to is you are deciding what data to include and what scale you are using, just saying................

It's all BS... Until they explain how 3/4 of the earth turned into an ice cube 10 million years ago WITHOUT ANY HUMAN INPUT, then warmed back up a few million years later WITHOUT ANY HUMAN INPUT, the current "crisis" is horseshit. And there were multiple major ice ages with several minor ones....... These are massively extreme events compared to a 1-2 degree centigrade increase today.... and yet here we are...... Humans have an insignificant impact on the earth..... but it does make alot of money.
Ok, I'm thinking we all shave our heads, buy some robes and go to the next protest to give all the protestors a blessing before they start. Of course we add a little pop inside the reeds.
I remember reading an report on Al Gore's statistical data that he used in his presentations to SHOW that we were in a warming period. He cut the data off at a date in time (cant remember the numbers) but had he not excluded the previous time it would have shown the opposite. it was purely manliputation of the data to show what you want people to believe.
