Busenhalter-6 wanted to go deer hunting... And here is how it went.
"It's early. I need to do my hair. Are we there yet? How far do we have to walk? When do we see a deer? I have to go back to town to use the bathroom. I think I got bit by a tick. This gun is heavy. Is this the best place to sit? Do we do this all day? This gun is heavy. What do I do when a deer shows up? Will you clean it for me? How do we get it out of the woods. That squirrel scared me. Are there wolves here? My feet are cold. How do I tell if it's a deer or a moose? Are there other hunters out here that could shoot at us? Why aren't you talking are you mad a me? How come there are no deer? Did you bring me lunch? I should have brought my knitting. I have no cell service here. Can you take my picture and post it? I think I hear something. Is that a deer? I am ready to go home.
So by 9:30 am... she was back home knitting... and I went out and got a nice four-pointer. Not making that up, either.

Doesn't like hunting. Between the early mornings, long long walks in cold temps, the cleaning of game its just not for her.
Plus she says she doesnt think she could shoot an animal when groceries are easy to get. She did admit if (when) it isnt easy to obtain food, she is sure she will be more than able.
I did tell her that practice now is kinda key.... ?.
Kinda like hording ammo and supplies. She supports it. Has no idea how it really goes or what it takes. Leaves that to me, knows where stuff is and how to use it.

I value my alone time, and am looking very much forward to retirement.
The thing that's most disturbing from the picture is that a snake doesn't just wrap around the boy's leg. That snake has clamped down on his leg and then wrapped itself trying to suffocate the prey. That kid's in a lot of pain from the bite, more than from the snake wrapping around his leg.

I see no indoor 10M air rifle/pistol range.
No specific weapons securing room, and no place for a nice truck. That “storage/work” area could store a few supplies.

I am a 777 pilot, check-airman, instructor, and subject matter expert on the aircraft. I will confirm that this is a true statement. But my qualification were not needed to determine this, as any pilot or non-pilot would know this.
