She looks somewhat like my ex-fiance. Except mine looked even better, without any makeup. You would not believe the games she played, how she thought the world revolved around her, etc. She is an ex for a reason. Been there, done that.
Corporal Clifford M. Wooldridge snatched a machine gun from the hands of a Taliban fighter, then beat him to death with his own weapon.
In June 2010, Wooldridge and the Marines of Weapons Company, 3/7 came under attack while on patrol. Wooldridge and his squad left their vehicles to seek out the source of the enemy fire. They found 15 Taliban. They flanked the enemy, killing 8 and scattering the rest. Wooldridge crouched against a wall with his M249 SAW covering his fire team’s withdrawal. Around the corner, voices and footsteps came closer. Wooldridge jumped out and met two Taliban face-to-face. He blew through the remainder of his ammo belt, dropping them both at point-blank range. He returned to cover to reload. Suddenly, a machine gun barrel poked around the corner pointing his direction. Wooldridge dropped his SAW and grabbed the barrel. He wrestled for the gun, as the Taliban attempted to pull the pin from a grenade on the Marine’s vest. Wooldridge knocked him to the ground with the weapon and finished him with buttstrokes to the head. The rest of the fire team heard the gunfire and returned to the scene. They found Wooldridge standing over the three bodies, still holding the Taliban machine gun.
Two years later, Wooldridge received the Navy Cross for his actions. He left the Marines in 2016 as a Staff Sergeant.

At the time I was 32, and she was 23. Couple of decades ago, though. There is a photo a few pages ago that was quite close to what she looked like.
