I am laughing because I know what running that rich does to the inside of a Cummins. ?

Had a little shit for brains do this on a group ride one weekend. Several of the riders in the group were soldiers posted at Ft Bliss. Caught up to him at at a stop light and he no where to go. Thought the little asshole was going to shit in his pants when we confronted him.

This poses an interesting dilemma: do I open up on them through the door or do I wait until it opens so I can see the looks on their faces when they see the suppressed 6.8?

Personally, I don't care, but I can tell you your local city/district attorney will draw a distinction between trying to get in, an impending threat, and actually getting the door open and getting in.

Tag em as they enter and stack their carcasses in front of your destroyed door like sandbags a la 300

Its in CA so no cans

3” buckshot might get there attention when the door opens

Wasn't able to drag and drop photos to my post. Was there a change for that in the update last week?

You would get a full view of the photo rather than an image link w/ smallish preview.

Just open the door for them.

This is a cool rifle a friend of mine brought back from Afghanistan after his last deployment. It's a BSA Martini chambered in .450/577. The two rounds in the picture are the .450/577 with a .45-70 next to it for comparison.

That is not just cool... that is cool to the power of cool!

I didn’t know that bringbacks were still authorized. But who cares... pre 1899, not considered a firearm. Amazing provenance and history. THAT is the coolest thing I’ve seen in a while!!

My FIL has one of these Martini rifles and I thought he was pulling my leg when he showed me the cartridge it shot. Very cool piece.

Usually a big fan of your posts but take exception to this one. I am a long time road cyclist who could't count on two hands the number of cyclists that I have known over the years that have been killed or seriously injured by errant or inattentive drivers or just plain mad at the world. Yes there are assholes who put themselves in harms ways by the way they ride and reflect badly on cyclists as a whole.
Bitching at Sirh for being offensive is like trying to put out a forest fire with gasoline, best of luck to ya.

Say whatever you want man but you're riding a bike on the road with cars. You want to take the gamble then you fucking own it. Cars hit cars and mostly nobody dies because they're in a fucking car. You guys are running naked in the fast lane and passing cars at every red light, then get pissed when people don't want to just follow you at bike speed.
Find a bike path, trail, or stfu and deal with the real world.

Toured this craft when it was being built at Amfels in Brownsville. Before the main dome was applied. The project director was a friend, so he took a few hours (It's a big ship) to show us around. It was the biggest semi-submersible available, from whichever Scandinavian country they got it from. It was specc'ed to have 8 generators, but someone cut back, and they ended up with one less, so he ended up with 6 of the biggest cats available, plus one for ship's power. The others ran submarine electric motors in each corner stack, which could be lowered or raised (for when they were being towed in and out of port) Each was steerable, and very powerful.
The designed the ship to use each hollow leg and struts as fuel tanks. It had a ships crew, and a radar crew plus cooking staff, and a ship's medic.
When it was pulled out by tugs from Amfels, into the ship channel past South Padre Island, it got stuck at that last corner (opposite the turning basin, at the start of the last straightaway. the tugs had cut the corner, and dragged the leading stack, and pontoon onto the sand bar, just at the edge of the big fishing and swimming pond on the south side of the channel.
they pulled and pulled, (the platform hd pilot's instructions to NOT put down a motor, in order to avoid running aground. After a couple of hours, the Captain lowered one motor, hit the power, which about drained the channel. It was amazing to see. Suddenly the water swirled near the far corner, and pulled that platform off.
They continued down the channel and out into the Gulf, for sea trials.
It was supposed to be stationed in the western Pacific, using dynamic positioning, however that big dome acted a a huge sail, and resulted in some positioning problems. I think they towed it back to Hawaii, until they could station it in the Aleutians.
An amazing ship.
When we toured it, it was completely up on it's pontoons. Seemed like it was a mile high when we rose up on the rickety consttuction elevator that was attached to the side. BTW, looking at the photo again, the main dome appears to have a much more stramlined profile than the original.
Thanks for posting. I will dig out my photos of this tour, and post them later.
