Maggie’s Motivational Pic Thread v2.0 - - New Rules - See Post #1

Different rank structures down here but I do remember being reprimanded by a Wing Commander and a Squadron Leader, my right arm was broken and in a sling, they told me I should have used my left hand to salute, I pointed out that I was carrying a Browning 9 mm in my left hand as I was escorting their pay packets. This was back in the days when we got paid with real money.

Buddies father was a Command Chief Master Sargent, one morning he saluted a young Lieutenant (not sure if 2nd or 1st) left him hanging on the salute. It did not go well for the LT after the conversation my buddies father had with the base commander when he brought him his morning cup of coffee.

Lacking originality though. Maybe you could write for Biden :ROFLMAO:

When I was in tech school at Sheppard, a group of 6 or 7 of us would wait on the far side of the quad waiting for an officer to cross and then we would stagger our way across from him forcing the officer to keep saluting each of us individually. He looked like a windshield wiper...?

I failed to ID a 12 year old looking Lt there and was put to saluting rabbits for however long it took a grownup to arrive and send me on my way. It was a good investment, as I ended up working on Marine bases later and their officers were much more creative.
Years later, I got my ass chewed up and down for not standing for a Colonel in a hospital. My explanation “ I can’t see you sir” “well, you Can hear me”.

Barney, where’d you find this? Commercially produced art, someone’s one-off project, or no idea? Would absolutely pay for this if it’s commercially available. Super cool.

Bout 17 years ago, my FD still had paper patient care reports (sigh, the good ole days). We brought in a fairly banged up trauma. I sat at the hospital and wrote my report, then put the hospital's copy in the tray for that patient's room. Quickly the Doc read it, then walked over to me with a couple of questions. He opened with "your report is very well written, and very legible". I interrupted with "that doesn't mean much coming from a doctor."

If @Dirty D is not allowed to post I will ask Tucker to shut the thread down. He may anyway because he steals all of his memes from @Dirty D

My apologies to DirtyD and others who post the finest of the female human form. I simply noted the two people that seem to me to be the most prolific with the highest standards.

Your photo of that grotesque aberration is not motivational.

I would also suggest starting a new forum called T and A and leave this one for those who enjoy pictures of tractors, talking about speed traps and mangled body parts.

It is a joke and the CA law

DROS is not supposed to be a revenue source. But CA loves money so they started a group called APPS. They cross check things like DUI convictions and gun ownership

they send a team to a house of people who might be prohibited and have ever purchased a gun. (Background check database)

they raised the DROS fee to $75 out the door cost
so to buy a gun in CA, you typically pay 10% sales tax and a $75 DROS and must provide proof of a safe for long guns and purchase a lock for a hand gun

If the handgun does not come with a lock, you must buy one.
It does not matter is you already have 100 locks, you get to buy another.

project child safe uses tax money to give out free gunlocks.... but nope- you get to buy one
