Today I was four feet above him on a scaffold, framing in an attic ladder. I had been working there for 20 minutes before I realized he was right below me. That's what he does, stays with me. Nov. 2001, I'm hating life having to go through my clinical rotations in L&D for Paramedic school. Then one rotation there was a nurse pushing 40, and still as hard body as a brick shithouse. Per my examination, she was wearing scubs two sizes too small and zero underneath them. If I only knew then what I know now...
(Complained on, called in the chief's office, fired, yeah that's probably what would have happened as a rookie. Except today I gotta go with Lt. Raine's attitude "nah, prolly just chewed out, I've been chewed out before".)
