A pure virus can go through the 0.3 micron mesh of the N95. If it's in a mucus droplet then much higher percentage of filtration (N95 is 95% efficient down to 0.3 microns for a particulate). N99 is 99.75% but still at 0.3 microns. All these other bullshit you see people wearing might as well be screen doors on a submarine. 30 years of working with just about every type of respirator.... Makes my head explode looking at what is going on.
So a mask is so restrictive that it will keep CO2 from properly leaving your face and nose and prevent you from bringing in enough oxygen to breath properly and you will die from hypoxia, but at the same time it is far too open to trap a virus cell and is a “mosquito passing through a chain link fence” even though the virus is many times bigger than gas molecules? How does 3M produce these death trap check valves anyway? I’ve worn n95 masks and respirators with organic vapor cartridges for days on end doing strenuous work in oppressive heat and humidity and never had any issue with CO2 poisoning or lack of oxygen, I think it’s really all about people hating the way their own breath smells, brush your teeth.
You mean like how many people that die each year when we have a flu vaccination.No one has ever claimed a mask will have a 100% protection or even 50% but doing something is better than nothing. Either way, don’t wear mask, don’t take the vaccine and let nature do its work. Thank you.

Funny thing is I had a few seizures a couple weeks back. Funny thing is that my nurse that treated me that night tested positive for covid. I didn't contract it...weird right. Spent almost 9hrs with repeated contact with nurse who started IV and pushed many drugs. Still didn't contract it....funny thing is, I wasn't wearing a mask.
I'll keep my immune system just fine as I have for the past 24 years of working in the medical field and never contracted any major diseases.....

I never understood why they dont have this on ships for a CWS. Wouldn't this be more effective against drone attacks than the other options out there?
I already did. My wife became symptomatic about 4 days after me. Neither one of us thought is was a big deal. Tell us again why we should be wearing masks? We can't infect you, and you certainly can't infect us. Quit being such a scaredy cat.

I don't wear seat belts either. I have over 2 million miles under my belt (not a seat belt), I've totaled 3 cars, I've driven under conditions from ice to snow, to rain, to extreme heat. Can you apply my experiences to the population? NO. I am normal variation in the population of vehicle drivers.
You want another eye-opener, how many of the Covid cases in the southwest are illegal? We have to treat them, but they sure as hell are not broken out in the so called 'statistics' in the evening news.
I stand by my first premise, you appear to be a scaredy cat. I'm not saying that is bad, I'm just saying if you feel comfortable wearing a mask, then wear it. I'm just saying I and my wife are not a threat to anyone, so why again do we have to wear a mask?
