My baby girls, born this morning.
View attachment 7504860Momma is doing well, getting ready to be transferred out of post-op up to the mother-baby unit now. Made it all the way to 37 weeks 4 days, and neither of the girls will need any NICU time. God has most definitely blessed us.

Congratulations. My best to your wife as I hope she is doing well.

That’s like saying that a Rolex keeps better time than a Seiko. I bet it’s never been off road except when it missed the driveway and drove on the grass.

Nothing....NOTHING is going to keep time like a digital watch. Mechanical anything is just by its nature going to be less accurate then the $7.99 hello kitty LCD in the walmart checkout line.

You buy rolex or something like a seiko snowflake not to keep time but for the craftsmanship that goes into it.

And yes there are seiko watches that make a rolex look cheap next to it, that is the fantastic thing about seiko only a real "watch guy" will know if that seiko on your wrist is a $150, or $15,000 watch.

Some people like that, they want a fantastic hand made machine on their wrist but don't want the world to know it.

I had a relative who was a Swiss manufacturer of watches and for a number of years he was the sole provider for Tiffany's. etc. He said that fancy expensive watches were jewelery.
They were not tools for time keeping.

I want to spend a few weeks in Scotland. One of my bucket list items to hike Hadrian’s Wall. My mother’s side of the family is from Glasgow and Midlothian. Also have ancestor relatives in the Faroe Islands. I will dig around for some more of my Scotland pictures and post.
The wife and I were scheduled to walk the wall this past July. The covids put the kibosh on those plans. We were going west to east with the prevailing winds. 9 days, 8 nights. What a bummer.

Maybe try quality over quantity mate. Some of your pics have been quality / funny but they just get swamped by the quantity. This thread belongs to everyone here, maybe we need a "fair use" policy. We did have an unofficial one amongst ourselves before you started your takeover. Something to think about??
funny, I haven't had any problem adding posts when ever I want...get over it.
