That sux. At 8 I was handed the tools and instructed on how to. By ten years old it was.... "Hey, the Jimmy needs a oil change and a tune up!". " The tires on your mom's car need rotated". I learned that you can't set the timing with the vac advance hooked up real early. Lot's of that stuff doesn't apply to these new electronic contraptions.

Still a work in progress.

Really like the serpentine drive setup.

This!

This is motivational! Everyone that hasn’t seen this thread should at least go over and see what is happening. Even private wishes and prayers are a way of giving for those that cannot give in other ways.

SO you're telling me we need more trees and less pavement. Sounds like living in the countryside where there is rarely any public transportation, we hunt animals, grow our on food, wave at each other, talk like people with a brain, can agree to disagree....do I need to go on??

Clearly racist

The serpentine belt setup is pretty nice. The factory belt system and accessory mountings leave a lot to be desired. Nevermind there's not much aftermarket support for the Olds in that area.
This setup puts all the electric connections in a small area making for a nice clean wiring job. I don't have a picture of it yet but I will post it later.
The top left pulley is where their vintage a/c compressor gets mounted. That's probably next year's project.
Really like the serpentine drive setup.
