Chanterelles are starting to pop up in Missouri. Aside from deer season, morel season and bangin the old lady this is the most exciting time of the year for me.

Been working hard getting my 3 year old excited about nature. Don’t want him to be an “inside kid”.
This is just after we checked the crawfish trap off the nearby bridge. We have so many crawfish, they nearly cleaned a cooked chicken leg in under 12 hours.
