Beautiful!!Can't confirm the pictured story, but it worked for my twins. Heart rate and O2 levels stabilized with a loving touch. A nurse told us of a study that concluded that with "loving" touch vs "working" touch (something doctors/nurse/staff would do) babies, especially premature, would progress better and faster. I found the study and it included brain wave studies of these infant patients. Basically if you want your baby to get better, hold them as much as possible. It took a lot of convincing and ultimately breaking the rules, but we put the babies together.

My little stinker came home from the NICU at 4 lbs 3 oz. Now pushing 90 lbs and 57" tall at 9. Joy of my life.
Totally worth the chance that I'll either be,
A) Cursed.
B) Turned into a frog.
C) End up with warts.
D) Savings wiped out, out of money and out of a house.
Two curbed wheels has made me a little gun shy. I’m still in the white line though, if you can call them that still.
Brings back memeories of my triplets that were born at 30 weeks. 2-11.6, 3-9.4, and 3-4.9. They spent 5, 6, and 7 weeks in the NICU before they came home at around 4-5 lbs.
