Rifle Scopes Mount for S&B 5-20x50 Ultra Short

Hey guys really want to try the Spuhr QD mount. Not sure if it'll fit a 5-20 US. I have confirmed that the distance between the rings is 2.24" on the Spuhr. I'm pretty bad at math though and not sure exactly how to calculate if it'll fit. If anyone can help out that would he great! Thanks

Did you go with an illuminated 5-20x50? If YES -- it's not the ring spacing that would make the QD mount incompatible, it's the limited tube length between the turret housing and the illumination control on the scope. Google image search SPUHR SP-4036 ULTRA SHORT and you'll see what I mean. The rear ring on that specific mount is a 4 screw ring with a rear section designed to overhang the illumination control. The QD mount has a longer 6 screw ring.

I had some trouble deciding on which Spuhr mount to choose, but after talking with Mile High that helped a lot. I really like LaRue and want to support them, yet Spuhr is just an awesome product.
