Mount too high?

Mounted my Z Comp527 in a Spuhr 6002, 1.5 in. Does this appear too high?
This is a MTU contour barrel in a MDT ESS chassis. Spuhr makes a 1.18 in high as well.

Your thoughts?

I bought the mount used from a fine SH subscriber today.

For positional shooting with an adjustable comb, that looks perfect.

It will provide a more upright head position, in turn making it more comfortable

As long as you're cheek rest is adjustable height, you're awesome

Upright head position is more comfortable and repeatable than the old-school head cocked over

OP, there is no "too high" for scope mount, good ballistic apps have scope height values that adjust for solution, it's what is most comfortable for you. Edit - I suppose there is a "too high" at some point, but with today's mounts I doubt you'll encounter that with an adjustable stock/cheek riser.

Its fine as is

Higher is better

today you want a minimum of 1.375" in most set ups

The old school, mounting low is a hunting thing from the past, no longer relevant and in many cases when guys go too low they bend the tubes, seen it.
