Rifle Scopes Mounting a SS HD 5x20 pt. 2

Ok, after my last post I think I have an idea of what I am looking for.

I've got a Remington 700P and a SS 5x20 scope that need to be joined

I'm planning on using Seekins hardware.

From what I can tell, I need a 20 moa short action base. However, do I need #6 or #8 screws?

Also, I've been told I'll need a set of 30mm medium high rings, but don't know if I'll need the .87" or .92". 4 cap screw I'm assuming?

6/48 screws if the holes in the receiver are factory.
.87" rings will be adequate to clear the barrel on the P and have room for scope caps.

Yes, the receiver is factory.
