Mounts for Ruger Precision Rifle

Hey all just wanted to see what the pros/cons were of a mount vs rings for a RPR.

I am upgrading from my gen 2 pst in the vortex pmr rings, to a gen 2 razor and am not sure which way to go for mounting the new optic.

Are there any benefits going from rings to a mount say like a spuhr?

Im thinking of going arc rings or a spuhr mount.

Any advantages between the two?
Weight is not a concern for me

I’ve no first hand experience with the arc rings you mentioned, but I do own a Spuhr and it is awesome! After owning one and many other brands of rings, by far the Spuhr mount is the best IMO. You will not be disappointed with it. Sure they are spendy, but well worth it. After using the handy leveling wedge included, I double checked the level of the reticle, it was spot on. Really no reason not to go with the spuhrs, other than cost I suppose.

I have a Spuhr mounted Razor on my AI because it’s an AI and I went all in. Yes it is awesome. On my RPR I used a Larue OBR Mount and a Gen 2 PST. I think the component quality on the respective guns is in line and consistent.
I prefer mounts to rings on everything except lightweight hunting rifles.

I have just recently put the Spuhr mount in my RPR, and it's awesome. Didn't have that many options due to my 35mm tube. It's worth it, IMO.
