Wanting a fun gun in a MP5 style.
Who are the better ones to go with. Mostly dependability and function is top, accuracy would be a plus(plinkingwise).

I had a GSG way back before they got sued and changed some things. It was a fun little blaster. I ended up selling it to a guy for his little boy.

Edited to say GSG, not GG&G. I’m an idiot and can’t put the right maker with correct piece

I have a GSG-5 that I bought back in 2006ish. Lots of fun. Most of my 22 time went to bolt gun or AR derivatives. Got a real MP5 recently (SP) and dusted it off. Works great. Probably only a couple thousand rounds through it. Accuracy- I have no idea. It runs pretty well. Build quality- good, when you consider the real MP5s are stamped parts too.

Fun little gun, but frankly, I find the circle/post front with the castle/turret back to be, antiquated. Very MP5…

It’s fun to shoot, slap that bitch into battery, and play SAS with some steel- but then... Get a good friend to buy one and then offer to buy the ammo for some range sessions, then watch Navy SEALs, 5 Days, and Die Hard. Repeat every few years…

The new ones hk is selling are about $479 pistol and sd looking rifle/carbine , supposed to have shipped to dealers October
That is awesome! I sold my umarex years ago and regretted it. Tried to buy another one just before covid and they were going for like 700 on gunbroker. It was a lot of fun to shoot.never malfunctioned in thousands of rounds with minimal cleaning

I have the Walther HK model as well. Run nothing but the cheap federal bulk ammo from Wally World. Never malfunctions. Only maintenance I’ve done is spray some Rem oil in the action once and a while. Several thousand rounds through it
