MPA chassis screw size

Does any one know the screw size for a rem 700 MPA chassis?

I need a set of action screws.

What was the MPA action screw size for the Rem 700? I have a Rem 700 SA clone, but the MPA provides screws don’t thread in. They appear to be a bit larger than that on the receiver.

1/4-28 3/4in long. had to get some shorter ones for my defiance action went to 5/8 long.
