Hey guys just wrapped up my matrix pro review. I know MPA always had a large market share in chassis for PRS and especially with the production class rifles now too.

I'm testing an elite now. I'll have a review up soon. So far the elite is really nice thoHow would you compare it to MDT Elite?
Im in process of choosing one of the two.. if you could choose one, which one would you choose for a 25” 1.2” 22lr build?I'm testing an elite now. I'll have a review up soon. So far the elite is really nice tho
Elite. Easier to balance out front for .22 stuff.Im in process of choosing one of the two.. if you could choose one, which one would you choose for a 25” 1.2” 22lr build?
Dang that's pretty cool! Would be pretty interesting if the "left handed" one's were ambi cause they just cut a RH one lolOrdered a left hand R700 clone from Eurooptic about a year ago. Came ambi…

So still looking the matrix pro? I’m debating a Mateix Pro 2 or Acc Elite.Switched from foundation to Matrix pro this year. Have 2 of them, about to order a 3rd for a dedicated trainer. Really like them so far.
So Acc Elite or Matrix pro for prs rifle?I'm testing an elite now. I'll have a review up soon. So far the elite is really nice tho
Probably the Pro 2 at this point but it’s really close. I’ve just had too many thing come lose on the ACC elite. It bugs be.So Acc Elite or Matrix pro for prs rifle?
the lack of 50 different fastner sizes is a plus.
I sold a couple of the Matrix Pro's...my only issue was they are really butt heavy and with a 24" or less barrel(even a straight 1.25")you really have to weight them down to get them to balance but other than that I really liked them....I never tried the lighter butt stock they offer so not sure how that would work out.
I am running the XYLO chassis on my Vudoo, 6GT and 6.5creed(all 1.25 straight 24")and had to add 2 ARC internal weights and they balance about 3" in front of the mag well. That is the only thing that bugs me about the MPAs. Good thing I just drop my Fix It Stick kit down next to it and go to work. LOL
The new Matrix Pro II with the light butt helps a lot. With my 23" Vudoo with the 1.2" barrel even the original Matrix Pro balances without weights up front. With the Pro II it definitely puts the balance point forward.

I do want to check it out but I’ve got a few others on my plate at the moment. Hopefully I can get to it tho. I saw it at SHOT show and it looked really good@Covertnoob5 - while you’re at it, consider checking out the Vision Pro. Beautifully made chassis.
PS - oops, just noticed the date on the start of this thread. But it’s still a beautifully made chassis.
What about it would you like to know? It worked well and didn’t have any slippage issues. Thanks for a very thorough review - especially the section on the butt stock. One thing I’d like to know more about is what you thought of the integrated arca rail.
I ended finding a deal on an Acc elite. I’m very happy with it. I do like its simplicity. If I did it over I would go acc elite. I think it's a better chassis design and the lack of 50 different fastner sizes is a plus.
Main difference is the bag rider and cheek piece are crappy 3d printed plastic to get weight out of rear. The matrix is way too rear heavy , requiring alot of front weight to get them to balance. I needed a 26" 1.25 barrel and full internals plus 2 externals to get it to balance with the matrix 2 upgrades. What's the main difference in the matrix pro and matrix pro 2?
This video covers the differences. The aluminum rear stock has had some material removed to lighten it. The lightweight bag rider and cheekpiece are a separate kit that can be purchased separately. What's the main difference in the matrix pro and matrix pro 2?
