Ordered a left hand R700 clone from Eurooptic about a year ago. Came ambi…

I sold a couple of the Matrix Pro's...my only issue was they are really butt heavy and with a 24" or less barrel(even a straight 1.25")you really have to weight them down to get them to balance but other than that I really liked them....I never tried the lighter butt stock they offer so not sure how that would work out.

I'm running a 28" heavy varmint profile in my Matrix Pro's and I still need some weight up front to balance.

I'm waiting on an ACC Elite to come in. I'm going to try and getmy 20" vudoo to balance in that. Then we'll see if I start moving my centerfire rifles over or not

the lack of 50 different fastner sizes is a plus.

That is the only thing that bugs me about the MPAs. Good thing I just drop my Fix It Stick kit down next to it and go to work. LOL

The new Matrix Pro II with the light butt helps a lot. With my 23" Vudoo with the 1.2" barrel even the original Matrix Pro balances without weights up front. With the Pro II it definitely puts the balance point forward.

I am running the XYLO chassis on my Vudoo, 6GT and 6.5creed(all 1.25 straight 24")and had to add 2 ARC internal weights and they balance about 3" in front of the mag well.

Hey guys just wrapped up my matrix pro review. I know MPA always had a large market share in chassis for PRS and especially with the production class rifles now too.

Thanks for a very thorough review - especially the section on the butt stock. One thing I’d like to know more about is what you thought of the integrated arca rail.

@Covertnoob5 - while you’re at it, consider checking out the Vision Pro. Beautifully made chassis.

PS - oops, just noticed the date on the start of this thread. But it’s still a beautifully made chassis.

I do want to check it out but I’ve got a few others on my plate at the moment. Hopefully I can get to it tho. I saw it at SHOT show and it looked really good

What's the main difference in the matrix pro and matrix pro 2?
Main difference is the bag rider and cheek piece are crappy 3d printed plastic to get weight out of rear. The matrix is way too rear heavy , requiring alot of front weight to get them to balance. I needed a 26" 1.25 barrel and full internals plus 2 externals to get it to balance with the matrix 2 upgrades.

Switched to the acc elite which IMO is leaps and bounds a better designed and executed chassis.

Here’s a pic of the rear of my Matrix Pro II. You can see the lightening drilled areas and none of the hardware. It comes with the collars but I added the little black screws.

I’ve been trying to decide between the AAC elite or the matrix for a long action 300 PRC build but it looks like I can only get the matrix in long action left hand. Anyone have a magnum aac in left hand?
