Rifle Scopes MST-100 without index marks

I have an early MST-100 #3053 it is new to me on a M40A1 I recently bought from a member on the Hide. I just noticed it does not have index marks for either elevation or windage... I can not believe this is normal. Does anyone have one like this??

I spoke with USO this morning and in typical USO fashion I was told "send it down and we will check and take care of it"

You make that sound like a bad thing. I'll take, "send it down" over "stop calling here."

USO will get it squared away.

Let us know what ends up happening with it.

USO has been the one of the best companies I have ever done business with in many ways. Their product is top of the heap and they stand behind it like no one else. If what I wrote was taken in a derogatory manner with respect to USO that is absolutely not what I intended.

Here is a pre photo... I overnighted it to USO yesterday, Monday, today, Tuesday I received a fedex priority overnight tracking # for the return of my corrected scope for Wednesday morning.. That's what I call customer service!!

merlinn sent me the same photo. Those that have one will see a very missing piece. Mine is a bit off of center with the mark, but his is clearly missing. It is an oops, and I'm sure they will take care of it quickly.

I will have it back tomorrow, if time permits I will post a photo of the corrected scope. What is odd to me is how it got this far down the track.. the scope is 6 or more years old.. USO is the best at customer service, why did it not get fixed till now??

ROFL. Now that you mention it, mine is missing them too.

I didn't even notice it while I was fondling it.

Guess I need to call them.

ETA, I am not sure I really care about it, because the scope is going to be covered in Krylon as soon as my build is done. But you never know. My great, great, great grandson may be worried about it.
