muzzle break help

just picked up a remmy 700 5r in 300 win mag. i plan on putting adding a muzzle break and from what i've read the fat bastard seems to be on of the favs. ap recommends a minimum barrel diameter of .9. is the 5r barrel large enough for this? would you fellas recommend a different brake?

the FAt BAstard will work but the little bastard will also do the job for you take either one and you will be good to go.

I just received my barrel back from having a Little Bastard installed. The work is definately top notch and turn around time was faster than quoted. Mine is on a 12# 7mm Rem Mag and the LB is perfect. Recoil is less than my 14# rifle with a Harrel's brake, which I had thought was great. I wouldn't hesitate to get another one, which I probably will on my other rifle that has the Harrel's.
