Muzzle velocity Semi vs bolt rig

Given the same load and same length barrel, how much muzzle velocity would you say is lost shooting a round through a ar-10 platform vs a bolt rig. No adjustable gas block on the 10. Anyone's experience would be awesome.

Barrel finish, rifling design and chamber print will have more effect than the operating system, IMHO.

I.E. my 21" Noveske barreled AR10 shoots faster than my 26" M700 shooting 168gr Gold Metal Match.

If you really wanted to see how much velocity the gas system cost you, take an adjustable gas block and check velocity with it in "normal" mode and then again with the gas cutoff.

I don't currently have an adjustable gas block on any of my gas guns.

I've never noticed a practical difference.
