Stock gas system

I’m having the occasional issue with rounds not extracting in time and getting the new round stuck in chamber. I’m getting a lot of gas coming back and I believe the bcg is traveling too fast and causing this malfunction. It’s about ten percent of the time. Any suggestions on a heavier buffer to slow down the bcg? Or would an adjustable gas Block be an option? I’d like to keep the weapon as close to stock as I can. Pic is of one of the cases that went into chamber underneath a spent case. Any advice appreciated.

The YHM suppressors are super high back pressure.
Best solution is a lower back pressure can.
If you’re committed to that suppressor, you’re better off reducing the gas than you are just adding buffer weight.
An adjustable gas block isn’t a simple solution on the MWS for various reasons.
This may be a good place to start: https://blackrivertactical.com/WP/BRT-EZTUNE-Gas-Tube-LMT-MID-p148504128

I’m running a SureFire RC on mine. 16” SS barrel.
A Geissele trigger Is the only change that I have made to it.
It’s got the factory gas block, bolt carrier, buffer and action spring.
It‘s been perfectly reliable. Runs smooth.
It pitches the brass at 3:00 O’clock.
Additionally, the mount is rock solid and simple to use and the POI shift is minimal and repeatable.

And no, it is not significantly louder than other cans.

Went ahead and ordered that gas tube. I’ll start there. Thanks again because before you mentioned it, I didn’t know that existed.

Cool. Please report back on how it works.
It looks like a well thought out solution.
I have used other stuff from BRT with good results, but not these gas tubes.
