My 1st Bolt Gun

I've been drooling over these since I 1st saw them and made the leap this weekend. I checked out a few other .338's but they just didn't do it for me in factory trim and I wanted something "turn-key". I should take delivery by Friday and I'm freakin' stoked!!!!!!!

I really wanted a .50 but too many ranges won't let you shoot them and I didn't want a safe queen.

That's a high maintenance beast for a firsty...

It would seem so but I already have a few precision .308 autos so I really didn't want another 7.62. It's going to wear a USO SN3 TPAL 3.2x17

Sounds like a nice set up. I haven't shot the 98B myself, yet.

This should be an interesting experience to say the least. In the sense that there are very few field reports available on this platform I suppopse I am hanging it out there a bit, but I have confidence in Barrett products and think it should be a solid performer.

The 98B is a great platform, it will not disapoint.
