then i took it to nick (indygunworks.com) and had him paint the stock and fix some nicks. level my scope, tighter my scope rings and bases to the proper settings, and locktight them. also he put locktight on my rifle basics trigger and adjusted it. i couldn't find my locktight and he said he would do it for free while he had it. i couldn't be happier.

its a post 64 win model 70 trued,with a 28 inch slelin 1-8 barrel, older masterclass stock with adjustable cheak piece and accessory rail, tub 4-way buttplate, uso 20 mao base and uso low 30mm rings, and a 20x ss scope. when i got it it had 800rds down the tube and was set up for high power. i plan on using it in f-class this summer

i haven't shot past 300 yds yet with it. im in indiana and am waiting till it warms up so i can more accuratly figgure my drop. its killing me not to shoot it but there is no sence in wasting components this time of year. but at 300 yds i shot a 5 shot group of 2.5 ctc with a called flier. without the flier it was 1.3 ctc, with 142 smk and n-150 powder. im wanting to try some 4350 when i find some

i believe they were centra sights but i cant remember for sure. they did not come with the rifle. the before pics were the ones the man i bought the gun froms pics. i really wish i could have had them. eventually id like to try nra highpower shooting. but i want to get my feet wet in f-class first

snipershide will defintally get a range report, but it will more than likly contain more questions than answers as im as new as new can be to long range shooting

+1 that thing was nasty looking. i think thats why i got such a good deal on it because onone could see a good gun behind that ugly color

its a older masterclass stock that is outdated and has a lot of flaws. id love to get a mcm or manners but its not in the buget at this time but this one will do until it is.

It definitely looks better in the after photo but I gotta ask- What's up with the bolt knob? It looks like it has been wrapped with electrical tape or am I seeing things?

no you are not seeing things. im not sure what it is but its not electrical tape. thats what i thought it was to. its like alot of sheets of rubber. it was there when i bought it but it makes the bolt bigger and easier to grab in a hurry so i left it

That stock looks really comfortable to shoot. Definetly an improvement on the paint job.
