My 300 yd 3/4in Group... Lets see groups past 100 yards.

I just got out to the range with my Savage 10 FCP-K .308 and shot a three shot group at 300 yards. I didn't expect the results I managed. I used my ballistics calculator to get close dialing my turret then shot the group. It was a target already up that was blank but was rotated 90 degrees so my windage was dead on just an inch low on my elevation. Used off the shelf Federal Gold Medal .308 175 gr. SMK BTHP.

829 yards plate ( the 5 shots 1 bulls eye and the 4 upper right corner)

This was pretty good for me.
A Remington 700P from Scout Supply Company shooting Southwest Ammo 175LR. I truly feel the rifle shoots better than I can at this point. It shoots like this every time I go out.

This is a 6-shot group at 300 yards. I don't know what happened on the top hole. Shot felt good.....just went higher than the others. If you keep all 6 shots, it is a 1.41" group. If you take it out, I'm left with a 1.18" 5-shot group. Either way, I'll take it.

I'll put one up. This is 600yds, holding over for a quartering 6mph wind, first three shots out of the rifle prone+bipod. I know its only three shots, but I'm not much of a group shooter and I shoot 178 amax's, so my supply is limited!! Right around 1.5", .24moa.

Thats right at a 1.4 edge to edge group so just over 1/3 MOA.

Remington seems to be taking a beating on here lately, think sometimes we forget that its more indian than arrow.
