my .308 AR build *finished*

After a few months of getting parts together and waiting in the barrel, I finally got it all done. The barrel will get installed in the morning.

POF NP3 upper, lower and rail
POF LPK w/ JP Enterprise trigger springs
Magpul MOE+ grip
Magpul PRS stock w/ ext butt pad and Accu-shot Monopod & (reg .308 buffer/spring)
BMC Gunfighter Mod 4 charging handle (not in pic)
Fulton Armory chrome BC & JP enterprise bolt
Jp Enterprise 22" 11.25:1 twist barrel, adj. low pro gas block, rifle gas tube and JP Compensator
Larue Tactical 20 MOA PSR Scope Mount, LT112 (not pictured) and Nikon 3-9x40 scope.


Waiting on Vortex Viper 6-24x50 FFP scope. and like the barrel, I'll be waiting a month

nice build but personnaly i would have a handguard that covers the gas block and tube, that would also put the bipod further forward and help with stability.

yeah, GA makes a 13 5/8 rail that would cover it but trying to get them to sell it without having to buy a stripped upper is next to impossible. till then, i gotta wait till maybe someone is selling one.

yeah, i msg'd POF and GA to see if there was any way i can get a "hunter" rail system. they are roughly 1.5 inchs longer and would JUST cover the gas tube. so i am crossing my fingers there.

How did you secure the upper when tightening the barrel nut?

I was going to clamp it in a vice, but a proper tool would be preferred.

yeah

this is that POF upper/lower/mono rail combo they had for sale a while ago. the rail is 11" long and i thought it was going to be close, but apparently JP rifle lengths are a hair longer then i though. a GA mono rail is 13" long and is what i REALLY want to get, but they said they dont sell them separate. It would cover all the way to the gas block. I want to get atleast a POF hunter rail to hit the NF benchrest.
